What’s a Rodent?
A rodent is a small furry mammal whose teeth never stop growing.
Rodents are mammals of the order Rodentia, which is the largest order of mammals. They are characterized by a single pair of constantly growing incisors (front teeth) located in both the upper and lower jaw, that are used primarily for gnawing. These front teeth will grow right out of their mouths, preventing them from eating, if the rodent doesn’t continuously gnaw. The rodent species includes mice, rats, squirrels, gophers, and many more.Rat ID
