Early December to Mid February
- Plants and trees are sprayed using an organic insecticide/fungicide to control insect eggs. This treatment is for trees bearing fruit and many of your plants, which draw sucking, homopterous insects, but is not applied to certain evergreen trees (such as pine, junipers, and cypress).
(Note - Control of the insect egg stage prior to hatching is one of the most important tools of our service!)
- While working to control the egg stage we are not spraying the entire lot, as this pesticide is not labeled for soil insects.
- Organic insecticide dust is applied underneath your mobile home (if accessible)-a once-per-year important treatment.
- Fungicide is applied to trees as fungus spores multiply faster during these seasonal conditions.
Mid February to Late April
- Plants, small trees, and the entire grounds are power sprayed as the weather starts to warm to reduce the first spring crop of new migrating insect populations.
(Note - preventing this first spring generation of insects is very important!)
- Fungicide is applied to plants and fruit trees for healthier plants as fungus continues to be a problem during this time of year.
Late April to Late June
- We use special new ant control formulations that ants take back to kill the colony. (We want the ants to pick up this treatment and bring it back to the colony so we do not power spray your lot during this application).
- Our experienced technicians perform ant colony probing operations and granular treatments in landscape areas to eliminate satellite colonies.
- We spray treatable plants, shrubs, and small trees for insect control one last time before the warm season.

Early September to Late November
- Plants, small trees, and the entire lot are power sprayed to reduce egg-laying insect populations.
- Also, as the weather cools, be careful not to overwater-it encourages fungus growth.
- We spray treatable plants, shrubs, and small trees for insect control one last time before the warm season.
(Note - the adult insects are controlled prior to egg laying.)
This annual service was designed by Corky's Pest Control, to control insect populations in Southern California homes and to aid in the comfort of our customers. We know of no other program like it. We know from experience that these minimum services are necessary.
