The San Diego region is marked by its coastal influence, a true “Mediterranean” climate that is envied by the rest of the nation. The subtropical temperatures are best described as “mild”, varying little along the coast but warming inland. The air temperature is moderated by the temperature of the ocean, which rarely varies more than from the upper 50’s to low 70’s. Insects do not face any severe restrictions from the weather here—if you love the climate, so do they!
Since the climate is not a restricting factor for insects in the San Diego region, they can rapidly develop through their life cycle and become major problems. Ants, spiders, termites, cockroaches—they all thrive in the mild conditions we have come to enjoy. Your Corky’s technician understands that the area in which you live defines the pests you will have problems with, so we can solve your pest issues more effectively.
